SUITCASE PLAYERS - DANCE PERFORMANCE
The Suitcase Players, a group of actors, dancers and musicians, directed by Vicki Lloid, will present DREAMS, STORIES AND GOSSIP, an original verbatim dance/theater piece, and WHY ARE YOU SITTING IN THE DARK, a poem by Tess Gallagher, on July 11 and 12.
DREAMS, STORIES AND GOSSIP are theatrical vignettes portrayed by actors and dancers and based on true events and stories/gossip provided by the performers. Audience members may recognize a friend or family member. In certain cases, details have been changed to protect privacy.
WHY ARE YOU SITTING IN THE DARK is a newly published poem by Northwest poet Tess Gallagher. It is performed by four dancers and a narrator with an original piano score.
Performers are Lola Bloom, Jacki Fae, Shanta Corra, Rande Moss, Nathan Loomer, Holly Ross Farnam, Phyllis Rothwell, Topher Murphy and Paul Whetstone.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
