It’s bittersweet to share with you that Foundry Vineyards Seattle is closing on March 31st. We want to express our gratitude for your unwavering support and loyalty as members of our wine club. Your enthusiasm for our wines and experiences has truly made the last five years in Seattle unforgettable.

Jay and I want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. The reality is that our Seattle Tasting Room has struggled to meet the necessary sales and foot traffic to sustain its operations, exacerbated by its opening just before the pandemic. We implemented the cost-saving measure of staying open as a bottle shop through the end of our five-year lease to give our friends at fruitsuper time to plan their next steps. Fruitsuper has decided to take over the lease and will continue to operate in the space, and be our all-time favorite design store in Seattle.

Despite this change, our commitment to providing you with exceptional wines and experiences remains as strong as ever. We have introduced new shipping discounts for all club members, and we will continue to host pick-up parties and special events for our Seattle area club members. Our Spring pick-up party is scheduled for May 19th, followed by a “last chance before summer” pick-up party on June 15th. Keep an eye on your inbox in the next week for information about Spring release!

Lisa will be in the Seattle Tasting Room on March 30th & 31st, pouring her favorite wines (new and old) and spending the last days with you. We invite you to come, enjoy a glass, and share a story of your time with us in Seattle.

We sincerely value your membership and thank you for the wonderful memories we have shared in Seattle. We are so proud of what we created in Pioneer Square and look forward to the opportunity to create new memories with you at future club events and in our Walla Walla tasting room.
