Weather Restrictions

Our wines are living products that are sensitive to heat and cold, so we only ship when the temperature is under 70 degrees and above freezing at the shipping origin and destination. We want to make sure that you receive your wines in excellent condition so that you can taste all of the love and care that went into their making.

 

Shipping Guidelines

We ship to the following states: AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN*, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME*, MA, MN, MO, MD, MT, NV, NH, NM, NY, NC, OR, RI, TX, WA, WY (updated 2/1/22). If you need to arrange third party shipping please call 509-529-0736. *shipping license active starting in May 2022

 

Online orders may be picked up at either the Walla Walla or Seattle tasting rooms. Shipping orders are reviewed and sent out once a week on Thursday. If you have any questions about when your wine will ship or need your order to arrive on a specific date, please contact us immediately after placing your order. One your wine has shipped, you will receive tracking information via email once the carrier scans your package. If you haven’t received your tracking information, please check your spam filter or another inbox, as the email will be sent to the address provided in the shipping label. For the most accurate delivery estimate and to ensure an adult is present to sign for your wine, please contact the carrier.

 

The carrier will make two delivery attempts before returning the package to us. If you know you will not be able to sign at the time of delivery or if you receive a notice the package missed its attempted delivery, please contact the carrier as soon as possible. If your wine is not successfully delivered and is returned back to us, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Please note that if your wine is returned to us, you will be charged the shipping cost required to re-send the package.

 

Member Storage

Our goal is for Members to obtain their wine allocations in a timely manner by facilitating pick up opportunities at our tasting rooms or by shipping directly to an address of Members’ preference. Since we would prefer to host Members for a tasting upon allocation pick-up, we are happy to hold allocations for six weeks after release weekends. For the convenience of our Members we will ship remaining Spring allocations before our shipping window closes for the summer, and Fall allocations before the holidays. Normal shipping rates apply.

 

Corked or Flawed Wine

By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept returns of wine ordered in error, wine damaged during customer transit and storage, or wine damaged due to adverse weather conditions if you requested your order to be shipped outside of our recommended window.

 

If you receive a package that has been visibly damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange for an exchange or refund. If you received a bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed and would like to arrange a return or refund, please email us at info@foundryvineyards.com. We ask that local customers return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement.

Legal Requirements

You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Foundry Vineyards. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Foundry Vineyards are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.
